The “tax trick” is actual worse than that…it’s a blatant and obvious attempt to BUY VOTES, with MY money! I will NEVER vote Liberal…never have, never will!
Justin will have to call an election before too long and the Conservative Party will win in a huge landslide, we know all this. The Conservative party will be inheriting a huge mess in many areas and in particular Immigration. We know this. We have been informed that 4.9 million visas will be expiring before December 31 2025. Many of these newcomers are not going to leave voluntarily and will go "underground". In view of this inevitability, WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY IS GOING TO DO TO REMOVE THESE PEOPLE. TELL US NOW PLEASE. IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT THE CBSA HAS THE RESOURCES TO DEAL WITH THIS HUGE MESS.

Question… only you and the Ontario rep banded together in an effort to bring the truth to light and fight this . What about all the other MPs? Are they dead wood or not interested or ??? afraid of not getting a ‘goodie report’ from T???? Canada is truly in a terrible mess and 77 I don’t think I will live to see a big improvement change ! I feel bad for our kids but so far they have homes and good jobs. Of course that could even change . That man has to go! Can’t we ‘turf’’ him ? Thank you Tom for this informative report. I particularly liked the videos you have provided. I am in disagreement with the comments regarding Canada continuing to support the Ukrainians in the war with Russia. I point primarily to the Minsk agreement that was signed in 2014 indicating that NATO would NOT attempt to bring in the Ukraine etc. That agreement was not abided by NATO/ US. There is a lot more to be said for the way this situation has erupted.
In any event, I just hope that incoming President Trump can negotiate a PEACE agreement between these two countries. FOR THE SAKE OF PREVENTING WWIII!
Thanks Jane for the feedback. NATO is not a party to the Minsk agreement. It was the OSCE. The U.S. wasn't present at those negotiations. It was Germany and France. Poroshenko was President of Ukraine then and had a very different viewpoint as to who violated it first.
Hi Tom, I noted this week that respected U of C economist Trevor Tombe released a study which attributes between 0.5 and 0.8 percent increase in food pricing due to the carbon tax. That is for both direct and indirect effects.
Two questions: 1. Is this analysis wrong? Mr Tombe has certainly been recognized as an authority when it comes to these things.
2. If the CPC forms the next government and gets rid of the carbon tax, but food prices don't come down, how will that government then proceed?
