On immigration levels, we will introduce a formula to set numbers based on housing, healthcare and jobs capacity. On immigration visas, closer to the election we will release more details about what we are committing to do should we earn the right to govern. On border security, there is a fuller over 30 minute press conference with Pierre Poilievre offering details here: https://www.youtube.com/live/uOo-rOTEfas?si=8AT1yYcWtJHRp0TR. And lastly, the Liberals are indeed 100% responsible for the broken immigration system as they have been in power for 9 years and there is nobody else to be held accountable or responsible.

Mr Kmiec. Thank you for your reply. That is very nice you, to reply in this thread. HOWEVER, based on the data that is ALREADY OUT THERE, we have been swamped with foreigners. In Toronto it is now impossble to walk up the sidewalk without colliding with an aspiring immigrant on an electric scooter, where he is riding in contravention of municipal bylaws. This mass inflow of humanity is making the city un-liveable. We are informed that 4.9 million will be having their VISAS expiring before December, 2025 of which a high percentage are not going to leave, they will be going "underground". For this reason, you are going to have to massively increase resources at the CBSA and implement MASS DEPORTATIONS. Please stop pretending like we are still in 2008 and take a page from the book of TOM HOMAN, the incoming Republican border chief. He is coming to grips with the problem.. If you still insist on playing "Liberal Light" and perpetuating this excessive immigration hell, I will not vote for the CPC.

Dear Mr. Kmiec, Let us assume that the Liberal government is 100% responsible for all of the failures you describe. Let us also assume they are 100% incompetent. Now what are you going to do to fix the problem once you get into office, assuming you are to be the Minister in charge of Immigration ?

Hi Tom, Thank you for your article and the discussion. Here are some requests for fixes to the immigration system:

- Remove the 50 points for LMIAs in PR applications to reduce incentive for LMIA fraud (see LMIA fraud discussions https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaexpressentry/comments/1gh6lon/black_market_of_lmia_in_canada_peaks_news_article/).

- Immediately deny asylum claims from safe democratic countries.

- Don't allow asylum claims from inside the country.

- Stop asylum claims from countries that pose a threat to national security and which are at odds with our value system.

- Require visa's when visiting from additional countries.

- Put country caps on PRs like in the US.

- Only allow foreign students for certain University programs, not for college programs.

- Remove LMIA's all together.

- Hold both employers and employees accountable (fines / deportations) who have committed fraud in the LMIA system.

- Enforce deportations orders for those with expired visas.

Thank you!

Hi Tom, thanks as always for posting. It's good to have a MP willing to do that.

Can you give us the data points that were used for the 630 percent increase of US border patrol encounters? What were the numbers and the dates? I also was curious that there were no numbers shared for drug volumes.

I also wondered if you could share your perspective as a member of the CPC and an MP about the growing noise around potential foreign interference in the last CPC leadership race? Was there influence by a foreign government, what did the party know and do about it?

Thanks.
